(Tue Jul 6th, 2010, by Paul Lopez)

The clubbing scene in Puerto Banus is one of the bets on the Costa del Sol and can offer everything from VIP nights out to trashy nights. Catering for the discerning clubber through to hen parties you are sure to find a suitable venue in Puerto Banus but to help you make your mind up we have chosen a few of the more popular establishments for an overview.

Sinatras Bar – This is not a club but it is a sort of institution in Puerto Banus. It is located at the very start of Puerto Banus and is somewhere you should start the night.

Pangea – Most hardcore clubber will know of Pangea as it is a popular London club as well. Pangea Puerto Banus is located in one of the best positions on the port overlooking the marina and its famous VIP Sky Lounge is the ideal place to people watch as you party the night away.

News Café – This is on the frontline of Puerto Banus and is a lively bar. The dancing goes on upstairs and in the summer it gets very busy.

TIBU – This is a relatively newcomer to Puerto Banus but has quickly established itself as a main club with some of the best dance music in the area. It also has a cocktail bar and restaurant attached so you can spend the whole night there without having to go anywhere else.

Linekers Bar – Owned by Gary Lineker's brother this bar has gone from strength to strength and has actually opened up in other holiday resorts across Spain. It is the perfect venue for stag or hen parties playing all the trashy tunes we all just love to jump around to.

Dreamers – This club is located opposite the main Puerto Banus and is a very popular venue for clubbers that love the latest dance music.

Some holidaymakers that come to Marbella are in search of the nightlife and parties and in Marbella they will never be disappointed. There are literally hundreds of venues to choose from in Marbella. From small Spanish bars and clubs to expensive and cosmopolitan nightspots Marbella really does have it all on offer.

Tanguitos – This is located just off of Orange Square in Marbella old town and is a lively bar which doesn't really take off until after midnight.

Buddha Bar Marbella – This is located opposite Marbella old town on the beachside and has become a very popular venue for locals and tourists. It plays great music and gets very busy during the summer.

Suite – This is a restaurant and nightclub located at the Puente Romano five star hotel on Marbella's golden mile. It is a very popular club for locals and visitors and is renowned for pulling in a discerning crowd of party goers. In the summer months the venue moves down to the beach to become Suite del Mar.

Finca Besaya – Again this is a restaurant and lounge bar which attracts a discerning crowd and becomes a great club when the diners have all finished eating. It is not so well known to visitors as it is off of the golden mile but it is well worth a visit if you are staying in Marbella.

Over the years many a famous face has been spotted in Olivia Valere and it is certainly a place to spot the odd celebrity. Simply stunning - Andalucia

(Tue Jul 6th, 2010, by Paul Lopez)

Andalucia is the south / south east region of Spain and probably one of the prettiest and most diverse in terms of landscape and terrain than any other in Spain. Andalucia covers 87,597 square meters which actually equates to just over 17% of the territory of Spain.

Some of the most visited cities and towns are within Andalucia including Cordoba, Garanada, Malaga, and Seville. The coastal areas of the Costa Tropical, Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz are all within this spectacular region of Spain.

When some people think of Spain they think of dry arid terrain with little greenery but that could not be so wrong in terms of what Andalucia has to offer. Huge national parks, mountains, forests, lakes, lush fields and of course the sea are all in abundance in Andalucia. One minute you could be high up in the mountains surrounded by forests and inland lakes and the a few minutes later you could be sitting on a beach looking at the Mediterranean or the Atlantic Ocean.

Apart from the spectacular scenery Andalucia is swamped in history and was an important player in how many cultures spread throughout Europe. The most significant historical times was the occupation of Andlaucia by the Moors (Arabs). They brought with them foods never seen before as well as spices and traditions that have survived the centuries to this day.

Believe it or not the Arabs introduced underarm deodorant, shampoo and baths to this part of the world and the magnificent architecture is something that still dominates most cities skylines.

There are many faces to Andalucia and it is a place that can offer so much to its visitors. It really is an ideal holiday location whether you are looking for coastal or rural breaks. In fact the great thing about Andalucia is that you can combine it all.

Wherever you go in Vegas gambling is a must so once you've set your limit and learned the basics you can enjoy a true Vegas holiday experience, and you might even make some money in the process.

Vacationing in Venice

(Tue Jul 6th, 2010, by FlyEurope)

Always one of the most visited cities in the world, Venice is a must visit for any traveler. Located in northeast Italy, Venice is most famous for its canals and waterways that dissect the city. Made up of 116 islands and 409 bridges, Venice will continue to surprise the traveler around every corner of the city.

Flooded with architecture unlike that found anywhere else on earth, Venice will amaze even the most experienced of travelers. The first must on a list of things to do in Venice is to visit St. Mark's Basilica. The huge basilica dates back to the 9th century, being lavishly rebuilt in 1063. The art and mosaics inside and around the building will amaze, capping off with the highlight of the Basilica being the golden screen behind the altar where St. Mark is supposed to be buried. Even the pavement upon which you walk is elaborate, being a mosaic of glass and marble.

The next stop on a trip to Venice should be the Palazzo Ducale (Doge's Palace). Located in St. Mark's Square, the palace will likely be one of the most beautiful buildings you will ever see. With construction beginning in the 9th century, the architecture showcases the different styles incorporated into the building's unique design throughout the years. The most obvious of these periods is the Renaissance, with most of the art and design taking on this style.

After visiting St. Mark's Square and all it has to offer, one should make a point of visiting Rialto Bridge. This bridge was once the only way to cross the Grand Canal on foot, up until 1854. The bridge itself is a work of art, being designed by Antonio de Ponte, who beat out other proposals from Michelangelo and Palladio. The bridge offers the best view of the Grand Canal, which bisects the city into two halves.

A trip to Venice wouldn't be complete with a Gondola ride down one of the many canals of the city. A ride down the Grand Canal is recommended, as you will experience the best of what Venice has to offer. The buildings along the river exude fantastic architecture and will amaze you as they seem as though they could all just topple over into the canal, but always seem to hold their ground.

(Tue Jul 6th, 2010, by Kaitlin Nunn)

Argentina is a vast and varied country. To visit it all in a week is nearly impossible, but you can hit the hotspots. On day one of your Argentina tour, fly into Buenos Aires airport, then transfer to your Buenos Aires hotel. On day two, begin your Argentina tour with breakfast in your hotel, and then head out on a city tour. Visit the National Congress Parliament building, the Plaza de Mayo, the Casa Rosada Government House, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Cabildo Colonial City Hall. Fly from Buenos Aires to the Valdes Peninsula airport, then transfer to your Puerto Madryn hotel. Rest in town, perhaps venturing out along Puerto Madryn's downtown shops. Day four of your Argentina tour will be a tour of the Valdes Peninsula. After breakfast in your hotel, head to Puerto Piramides in the Valdes Peninsula natural reserve. There are plenty of nature walks to choose from. There is an interpretation center, sea lion and sea elephant colony, salt lakes, and a lighthouse that are all worth your time. Between June and December, you can also take a whale watching tour. The Avon and the Stour are the grounding spot for Christchurch - Dorset. Set between them, this town has ties that bind from over eight hundred years. Back before the Iron Age men and women built homes here and lived their lives. Now people come to enjoy the history and the charm as tourists and even retirees are ready to settle in a lovely location such as this. Of course the naming of things always is better when there is a story. For this town, there is a miracle. While building the Priory the workers found themselves with a board too short for the place they needed. They decided to deal with the issue in the morning and went home. But when they returned the next day they found the board had miraculously fit in the space. The obvious miracle meant that Jesus, a carpenter himself, had helped them out and so Christchurch Priory was named. This structure is miraculous because it is the largest church in England at more than three hundred feet in length. Since historically a church has been built on this space for over eight hundred years you have some powerful energy. The church has three different styles of Gothic architecture and has utilized the Saxon heritage in the building and the street s that surrounds it. All this adds to the pull of this church. Cultures that are there before you leave their influence and the Saxons were no different. As one of the first inhabitants to this region they originally named this town Twyneham which means, between two rivers. The harbor has been the draw for many men but the Saxons were the first to utilize it as a port between Britain and the ports of other countries. A perfect example of Saxon influence is the Christchurch Mill. This mill still works and you can watch how the corn was ground to provide the town. The building was well constructed as this mill worked up until the early twentieth century. The significance of this mill is the fact that it drew water from one river and deposited in the other. To see the mill shows you the amazing adaption the people from past times made. Situated as it is, Hengistbury Head was the location that the first people ever made their home. This locale afforded not only the views but the ability to create a port. Yet the historical impact is as vital as the scientific here. The Stanpit Marshes are being studied because of the migratory birds that visit here. And the lowlands and surrounding area are vital to understanding the erosion and changes that weather creates. Hiking through this area is a chance to view history and to experience the wonder of nature. While history prevails in this area a relative newcomer is Highcliffe Castle. Built in the nineteenth century it was a classic example of romantic architecture. But with its views and grounds fashioned by the famous Capability Brown it strikes a chord and affords you day lingering in gardens and fantasizing throughout the rooms. The people that have lived and built here are immersed in the culture of Christchurch - Dorset. But the locale on the rivers and the chance to enjoy what others have created before leaves you feeling fulfilled and engaged. This is a perfect balance for a holiday and a town.

Bridgwater - Somerset: A Town That Knows What It Wants And Gets It Done

(Wed Jul 7th, 2010, by Frederick Hoymer)

Having your birthday be over eight hundred years before gives you the wizened appearance of the aged but Bridgwater - Somerset does not do that. Beginning as a market town it has had a finger on the pulse of the political landscape throughout the years and had no trouble voicing its opinion. You can find many different types of topography here. The waterfront comes from the city being located on either side of the River Parrett. But there are wooded areas and steadfast hills that also frame the area. In the Middle Ages fairs and markets were more than just a place to purchase things you needed but also the place to have fun. Bridgwater has been celebrated for these events ever since then. And now they put the two together for Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival. Adding political flair with the ability to throw a really great party this event is known worldwide and the attendees come from all points on the globe. The name of Guy Fawkes is the nod to the politics since he was the mastermind behind the plot to blow up Parliament. And since Bridgwater sided with the Royalists in the Civil War they know the hazards of choosing the side that loses. Either way this event is the toast of the Friday closest to November fifth. With up to two hundred thousand people descending here it is a show and an event that you would not want to miss. With floats, or cars as they are called, up to a hundred feet long decorated with lights, people, and anything else participants can find, it is a festival of epic proportions. Those that are involved are called Features or Masqueraders and they make sure they are there for the big, enormous fireworks show at the end. With the party instinct on high, this town still delivers in the intellectual venue with poets like Samuel Taylor Coleridge who lived here for three years with his family. Visit Coleridge Cottage where he produced some of his most famous works like The Nightingale, Kubla Kahn, and The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. See about the visits from his friend, William Wordsworth and how their daily walks inspired them both. Or learn about the famous Admiral Robert Blake who was born and lived in Blake House. Make a plan to learn about his invaluable military career and his time spent in Parliament by visiting this home and museum. Industry touched this town by way of cloth making. This was the commerce that brought money to the coffers until the Industrial Revolution changed how and where the cloth was produced. Now manufacturing is the staple for the economy. The flavor of Bridgwater - Somerset is far from stuffy and boring. This town has found that putting their voice to good use and taking their ability to throw a great party has brought a strong dynamic to this area that brings people to visit seeing something new every time.

Costa del Sol Water Sports

(Wed Jul 7th, 2010, by Paul Lopez)

When on holiday on Spain's Costa del Sol there are numerous water sport activities you can enjoy. However, it is important that should you decide to have a go at windsurfing then make sure that you find a good quality school to use. These will then help to ensure that you remain safe at all times and they show you the correct way to ride them.

Also you must make sure that the windsurfing school you choose to use is one that will supply you with the appropriate equipment. The kinds of equipment that they will supply to you shouldn't only include the board, but also the clothing and any safety equipment. One of the most important items that they should supply to you is a helmet.

Although this is a relatively safe sport there is still the chance of you being injured should the wind suddenly change direction. As a result the sail and mast can suddenly flip around and hit you on the head. But of course wearing a helmet will then ensure that you will not be harmed as the mast comes into contact with the helmet.

As well as a helmet that fits comfortably make sure that all the straps that will keep it in place. If the straps look at all frayed then ask them to supply a different one to you. Also make sure that after strapping it in place the clips that will keep it in place won't come apart should any effort be made to pull it off. Even a slight tug from a wave could cause the helmet to come loose.

Another thing you should be asking them to supply you with is of course a life jacket. This shouldn't be too bulky so that you can move freely whilst on the board and wish to change direction.
